Introduction: Cool Blue is affiliated with a music store called Music Scene in Andover, KS. Many of the musicians with Cool Blue also work at Music Scene as private instructors. Most hold a degree in music, several with Master Degrees. Cool Blue prides itself on providing high quality music each and every time. Cool Blue mostly plays weddings, anniversaries and private parties. Almost always it is a festive occasion and we really enjoy helping customers with the special occasions and adding that extra touch that live music brings.

We've had Cool Blue perform at our school's mock USO Dance for over 10 years in a row and we just can't say enough good things about them! Our parents always rave about the live performance. This band is passionate about their music and it shows! Highly recommend them!

Steve Shook with Cool Blue Band played for our daughter's wedding reception. Steve helped us with music selection and reception program organization. The band played for 4-5 hours. Steve was very helpful in planning and the band was excellent in performance. They played exactly the type of music we wanted and we all had a great time. They were flexible in letting a family member perform with them and our daughter received her dream reception. The band was there when they were supposed to be and I would not hesitate to hire them again. They really were fantastic!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can vary the price of the band depending on the size you want. We offer anywhere from a jazz trio up to an 18 piece band.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally the upfront communication is done through email, but we are happy to meet with the customer. Also, we practice at a Music Store called Music Scene in Andover and customers are always welcome to come out for a live demo.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of our musicians are degreed musicians, and many teach private lessons at Music Scene in Andover.
