I've always been afraid of going to massage therapist all because of a bad expieriance. I explained my problems and expieriances so she told me not to worry that if I feel to much pain she would back off and work another area.
I was very pleased Heather has been the best therapist I have been to in a really long time. I really recomend Heather to anyone.

I have been getting weekly massages from Heather since before she completed school and her skill in her trade has grown to be an amazing gift. I normally get a general upper body massage, treating my neck, back and arms. Since starting treatments with Heather
the "Pins and Needles" feeling I get in my arms and hands has gone away and the pain I get in my neck from prior problems in my C7 have been relaxed and only flare up when I over work myself. I wouldn't recommend any one else but her for your neck and back needs. Jeff "The Bug Man"

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. General Swedish, which is a relaxation massage, Deep Tissue which helps get the second layer of muscles loosened up. I also have Resistive stretches which help with rebuilding muscles strength.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Please make sure your Therapist has the proper license and insurance for Massage. Many people don't relize that there are a lot of fakes out there trying to prostitute using massage as a cover. Please don't be fooled by those.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a client wanting to know more about massage, I would be curious as to what all the therapist had to learn in school to become a massage therapist. Most people don't relize a Massage Therapist learns about all 600 muscles, all the bones and the actions both muscle and bone make or do. Also there is the 12 systems of the human body we have to learn about and the hormones etc. By the end of most therapists careers they know almost as much as a 1st yr family doctor but with less certifications.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I specialize in the scalp, neck, back and joints. my mission is to relax and rehab the muscles back to their potential.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Massage is a stess free occupation, getting my clients relaxed is my mission as I work towards rehabing their muscles.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What is your basic price for a general swedish massage? For first time clients it's only $50 for your basic 1 hour clinical massage.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. When I was a kid my dad would get home from the railroad with a sore lower back and legs from walking all day long. I started to give him foot and leg rubs. Over the years I started lookin up different techniques to help relieve the pain further and got so intrested in the alternative healing arts that I continued my education 3 yrs after High School.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Every year each Massage therapist much go to at least 12 hours of CE classes and another 36 in reading new materials and discoveries of the massage profession.
