- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After six years as a writer and music journalist, I decided I was more interested in sharing music than critiquing it. I also wanted to bring a hipness quotient to weddings that I felt was absent in the majority of wedding DJs. As a performing singer/songwriter, I also love playing acoustic music for ceremonies and cocktail hours.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All Ears DJ performs at weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, dances, and just about anything else. Bonus: all of our DJs also sing and perform live acoustic music for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, etc.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best way to figure out if a DJ is a good fit is to simply chat on the phone or set up a meeting. Also, read reviews - they'll often give you a great indication of the DJ's experience and professionalism.
