In addition, Carmen received her Credentials of Ministry in June, 2001 and can also officiate weddings. She also is a wedding gown preservation dealer.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Ask how long the person has been in their profession. How many weddings have they done? Are they members of any bridal organization? Asking for references is fine. Do they attend the rehearsal. Do they charge an additional fee to attend the rehearsal? Do they work alone or do they have a staff? Do they charge mileage? What do they were to your wedding? Do they have someone to call for back up should there be an emergency? Do they have references? Have they ever worked a wedding at the site where your wedding will be? Do they offer military discounts? Do they let the couple write their own vows? Can the couple see the entire wedding ceremony before their wedding?
Q. What are you currently working on improving?
A. I am currently working on updating my website. I feel it is very important to have your website updated on a regular basis. Offer advise to couples, give them one important piece of free advise. Let them know about upcoming bridal shows, wedding seminars, workshops, truck shows, etc. Networking is vital to the wedding industry and seeking out new wedding professionals is very important to further your exposure. Blogs are good information to keep wedding couples updated on current trends, colors for the year, helful information if they are planning their wedding without a wedding planner. Making sure all couples know the importance of selecting the right wedding specialist for them.
