- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is as I have stated earlier: Usually 3 days @ $100.00 each day plus materials. For larger than a bathroom or repairs throughout a house the time span is usually closer to a week to 6 days ...this includes basement renovations. If there is considerable height to the room it takes longer as well because of having to move the scaffolding from one point to the next.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Textures change as time marches on .... just as most people nowadays prefer a smooth ceiling over a pebble textured one....but the products are what change more than the methods. I must keep abreast of what is available that will work better for my skill set.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a teenager it was great $$ for my age and I stuck with it because I was great at it. Since then I have found out my Grandfather was a Doctor and I was offered Officer's School in the Marines, so I could have achieved Socially what many would consider a higher status, however; I was raised to do whatever I do as perfectly as possible and I take pride in my work.
