About
I have written over one hundred songs, for many different kinds of events. I take pride in knowing and understanding the people I write about.
My songs are original with catchy refrains, and a positive perspective on life. I was happy to create sallysings website so that I could honor my son Shane who passed away in 2004, with the story of his heart-shaped trip around the United States just before he died in a car crash. I also wrote a song in his honor and have a youtube video for your enjoyment.
Shane's story and song, "Ticket to Heaven," is on each CD that you purchase. I have also written songs for businesses such at "Cutco" (check out the YouTube video, "Slingin' Blades.") Sally is both a great singer / composer and a great person to work with. She's both very warm and has a great sense of humor that comes across both in her songs (if desired) and in my conversations with her. I know you'll have a good time working with Sally. Also, I am very impressed by the quality of her songs. She's also great with music lessons.
