FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly watching tutorials online, taking online classes, mentoring sessions with other photographers, classes around town that focus on better understanding Adobe PhotoShop and post production techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While taking pictures has always been enjoyable for me, it was my Grandmother who first encouraged me to get into photography. It began with a single image I took while driving from Ohio to Missouri, of some clouds. They looked like eagles, and my Grandmother oh she loved eagles. So when I had it printed (from a fancy disposable camera!) she just gushed over it and told me over and over again how I should really pursue photography. She passed away almost 2 years ago and in her things I found the eagle picture I had taken, still in its frame. That frame now sits on my desk to be a daily reminder of how I started and how far I've come.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am very easy-going and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the look and feel that you're looking for with your session. Whether it's senior portraits or your wedding day, I work to achieve the exact feel that you want. Once your session is over, that's when the real work for me has begun. I spend hours and hours in post production critiquing every image to make sure it is exactly the way it should be - the best that it can be.
