FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common job is a service or tune-up. For vacuums, it usually involves cleaning the brushroll (lubing in some cases), replacing the belt, cleaning the motor (and checking replaceable parts), checking the wiring and switches, cleaning the bag area and replacing the bag, or cleaning the filter. A normal service takes about 45 minutes but can be quite longer depending on what needs to be disassembled to be cleaned. For sewing machines we often find that they need to be stripped and cleaned to remove old oil and thread dust, then reset, timed, and set to factory specs.
