Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. We always advise a potential customer to obtain at least two bids on any project. NEVER pay any money down unless you have a special order project. Check with the BBB and Angie's List on all contractors.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Some companies use independent subcontractors and never check the project...be sure to get what the contract states . Find a company that inspects the work before making payment.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask for a reference list.
Do they have a physical office location or work from the kitchen table?
Are they insured properly?
Are the employees trained professionals?
