Introduction: Founded in 1992, the company owner, Michael Crisp, had one basic mission statement: to provide clients with the best possible entertainment for their events. In the years since, Michael and his staff have entertained for thousands of clients across the country. After graduation with a degree in business administration from Georgetown College, Michael opened the first Agency Entertainment office in Lexington, Kentucky. From the early going, the company specialized in booking bands and musicians for private parties and night clubs, as Michael was a touring musician (lead singer and rhythm guitarist) for a handful of successful cover bands throughout the 1990s. While spending much of his life on the road, he forged business relationships with several organizations, universities, corporations and night clubs. As a singer and musician, Michael utilized his talents and experience to better himself as well as Agency Entertainment. He spent several years mastering the art of a mobile disc jockey, combining the experience he attained as a live entertainer (personality and showmanship) with his knowledge of sound and lighting systems. Before long, Michael was not only in demand as a musician, he had also become the most requested mobile disc jockey in the entire region. By the late 90s, Michael had become a well-rounded entertainer, professionally performing as a solo acoustic singer and guitarist, cover band front man, mobile DJ, karaoke host, and even as an Elvis impersonator! Agency Entertainment had expanded with offices in Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. The firm was booking not only Michael but several other excellent acts, such as the area's top magicians, comedians, impersonators, and more (see our "Other Services We Provide" section of our website). As the new millenium approached, several additional offices were opened throughout various states in the south and midwest. In recent years, Michael has seen the most expansion in the mobile disc jockey industry, and has concentrated his efforts into making Agency Entertainment one of the absolute best DJ firms in the country. He personally trains all of his DJs and emcees (see our "About Our DJs" section of our website), and his mobile entertainers are respected (and requested) in the region. Parties can be memorable.
