A. "If I had inside info on what wires, wall mount bracket & how to get the right installer then the install would be so much easier!"

Choose an installation company that provides all the materials instead of an installation company that requires materials to be provided by the customer.
The companies that require the customer to provide materials are trying to side step their own warranty. They do this by telling you that your warranty only covers the labor/installation process & not your bracket &/or wires that you bought from elsewhere at a store or on-line. If your TV falls then your warranty is on your bracket that you bought form the other guy, he is now responsible for your broken TV.

Do not cut off your nose despite your face!
You may save a few dollars on materials & installations if you get cheap materials on-line & then pay for installation separate or get a cheap handyman to mount your TV.
However, you may be costing yourself the entire cost of the TV if he drops it or if something fails after he leaves.

Is the TV to be wall mounted with all the wires hidden or not will make a difference in the price of the installation.

A. I have tried many areas of the service industry & I have found that the one thing that many people work hard to save money for & the one thing that many people hustle hard to get home from work for is to hopefully finally get a chance to sit down & watch TV for a while in peace.
I like the fact that I am the one person that one would choose to create that experience in their own home.

A: The wires will be hidden only when the buildings structure will allow in-wall wiring, mostly YES!

Q: Can my TV be mounted over my fireplace safely & still be used?
A: Yes, TVs can be mounted over the fireplace in a manor that will allow the fireplace to operate safely. If the fireplace is installed properly to all fire codes the installation of a TV on-wall over the fireplace will be no problem.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I did an install for a person in a wheelchair, they had a very small room & no where to mount the TV & still be able to get around.

I was able to configure the room for the person so that the TV was mounted & the components were easy to access as well as leave plenty of room for the wheelchair.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. My customers would benefit to know a thing or two about us in my opinion.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. As a young man I was always very skilled in the home electronics industry. I stared right out of school & got into contracting A/V installations for residential & commercial installs.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Recently we mounted several TVs at a senior center & we donated a Nintendo Wii for the main room.
"The main area was never so filled with vibrancy" said the staff before we left. I can't help but think about the frame of mind that many of the seniors would have been in if we had never arrived that day.

A. Yes, our annual certifications are the best way to show our dedication to our customers, the type of dedication that produces the knowledge needed for a technician to make fast, educated & proper decisions.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. TVs change almost monthly now, holographic technology will change the industry a bit in the future!

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. The most recent installation completed was a moneys saver by Mike Sr.
The install was a TV mounted over a fireplace. The TV was a 3D plasma by Panasonic. All the wires were routed in the wall to built in cabinets on each side (wires routed to right side).
The customer had a HD satellite Directv box & a Panasonic Blu-ray 3D DVD player with internet capabilities for file sharing & etc.
We installed a Logitech harmony remote so that the customer can push one button & turn on every thing needed for the desired function & only have ONE remote at ALL TIMES!

A. Our pricing is designed to be easier to use.
We have a few ways to offer prices, one way is to offer a labor fee for installing your materials.

Another way is to offer a labor fee for install your materials with NO WIRES HIDDEN.

Also, we can offer prices that include all the materials in one flat rate package - complete installs.

Finally, we offer FREE installation when you purchase the bracket &/or wires from us.

We do not take payments up front, the way we operate is as follows:
*You schedule an installation appointment & we confirm the appointment on the day of.
We arrive to the provided address & survey the install to be sure that what was discussed matches the installs needs.
Once we have reached the point of agreement we will begin the install.
When the install is complete we will fill out the proper paperwork & at that point we will hand the an invoice.
The invoice must be paid in full at that time. Payment in full is due after the install is complete before the installer leaves the installation site.
