- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Contract work ranges from $80/hour to $125/hour depending on what I'm working on. From time to time I do accept contracts that are bid based on project scope. I rarely work with anyone with less than a $5,000 budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually chat over the phone, skype, or email. We get a scope of work ironed out. I estimate hours it would take to accomplish the scope of work. We set expectations for both parties, what you will be responsible for and what I will be responsible for. We sign a contract that protects both of us. A downpayment is usually made to commence work. Final payment is made when scope of work is completed. Change orders are created for any deviations that arise during the design process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15+ Years experience working independently, worked for multiple design firms and creative agencies, I am self taught. Have a deep understanding of what people buy, what sells, and what will work for many market niches. Have a design eye and the technical knowledge to develop for the web.
