Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. To make sure that you have a stress free wedding day, event or function by hiring someone that you get on with and has the necessary experience.

Someone that will listen to what YOU want and not tell you what THEY want. After all it's your occasion, NOT theirs.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. There should be no inside secrets between a client and their Coordinator. The Coordinator should be open about everything that they do for their clients, after all they are being paid for their services.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. The Planner/Coordinator will have plenty of questions for you, but here are some to ask them...

1. How long have you been a coordinator?
2. How do you charge?
3. What is the deposit?
4. What is your cancellation policy?
5. How many times will we meet before the wedding? Is there a time length for these meetings?
5. Do you offer packages? If so, what is included in each?
6. Will the you devise a master plan for the day mapping out all the little details?
7. Will you read over the vendor contracts? and contact them before the day?
8. Tell me about an emergency you have had to handle on the wedding day?
9. Do you have a back-up in case you can not make it to our wedding?
10. Will you be at the rehearsal? Is there an extra charge?
11. How will you be dressed on the day?
12. Have you worked at our venue before?
13. Have you worked with our vendors before?
14. What time will you arrive on the wedding day and what time will you leave?
15. Will you help set-up the ceremony and reception sites?
