Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would suggest to them that they have at least $10,000 to spend on the equipment, and that they are very savvy when it comes to creating their own internet website, particularly in internet marketing of same... for the internet is the future of DJ business advertising.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. Do you know enough about sound equipment to provide the best sound possible without all the equipment weight that can prevent the ease of mobility? You need to know about amplifier power ratings (rms), speaker power ratings and specifications (i.e. X-max of the woofers), crossover frequencies, electronic crossovers, mixer specifications (Soundcraft is the best!), bi-amping and tri-amping, harmonic distortion, intermodulation distortion, equalizers and how to use them, sound enhancing software, wireless microphone quality and frequencies, and every style of music imaginable.
