Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The advice I have for customers looking to hire graphic designers and illustrators is this: Request an estimate for the full scope of your project. Be as specific as you are able. Ask that it include the number of initial sketches or concepts you may expect, how many rounds of revisions are included, and whether the original finished art will be delivered to you. In a year or two, when you have moved or changed your email, for example, you will want to be able to make changes to your artwork and you may not remember who did the original work to ask them to do it for you. It is costly to do the same work over, so save your artwork and electronic files. You will be glad you did.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I'll let my clients answer this:
“Would love to work with in future! Professional, creative and was very responsive to my requirements. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for originality, experience and creativity. Thanks Peg!!” -- Taz Rai
“I'm very happy once again. Peg had a whole bunch of different projects for me and as always she nailed them all and was very fast and easy to work with. Thanks again!” -- Nelson O.
“This provider continues to meet expectations and with little effort, always 'gets it' when I try to describe what I'm trying to create. Her flexibility and patience have been tremendously helpful.” -- Lance L.
“You are the best in the business. Did the job spot on and was very willing to work with us every step of the way. Thanks, Peg. Blessings." -- The Barrows
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. What I like most about my job is working with my clients. They come first and I wouldn't be here without them. Spending the time upfront to listen and understand the scope of a project is very important to a successful outcome. I work with a number of small business owners and startup companies and enjoy giving them the attention they deserve. I was once starting up, too, and believe in treating customers the way I would like to be treated.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The question I am most commonly asked is: "Can I make revisions?" and the answer is always: "Yes. Of course, you can." All project estimates include revisions at no additional charge.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. A recent project I am particularly pleased about was for the City of College Park, GA. Working with an outstanding firm, KAI Strategic Marketing Group, in Atlanta, I worked through them developing the logo, tee shirts, posters, window clings, rack cards, a banner for City Hall, coasters, buttons, totes, calculators with pens, mousepads and puzzle trays as premium gifts. The logo was even printed on cookies! The best moment in the project came when my marketing client called me from the printer's. She was so excited about how it looked coming off the press that she called me right then. I was excited for her! That's what I mean about the importance of happy clients.
