Hi, this is Chris from BrewyetPhoto. We provide professional wedding, family and senior photography service to the Lafayette, LA area. I love to bring the personality of the couple, bride, senior, and families into every shoot. If you have ideas that you'd like to incorporate into the shoot, GREAT! If you don't have any ideas, that's ok too. I'll help guide you through all of your shoots. Please feel free to contact me for more information, I'd love to talk to you about your big day. You can see the consistency and quality from wedding to wedding or session to session.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When looking for a professional photographer, always ask to see multiple photos from many different shoots. Ask to see prints. Big prints, little prints, and med prints. Lots of prints. Because what looks good on a computer monitor, doesn't always translate into a great print. Also ask to see work from the photographer when the conditions weren't so great. Like, outdoors at night, or inside a dark reception hall / dark Church. A professional will be prepared for anything. They should be able to say "no problem" when the bride says, "We just decided to move the ceremony outdoors...at night...with no covering.." :-) Yep, it's happened to me. And, I was able to say, "No Problem, I'll just go grab some different equipment out of my truck, I'll be right back." Hope this helps! Thanks!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love meeting people! I really like how I get to have a small part in the greatest times of peoples lives. Whether it's a wedding, high school senior, family, or baby photos...it's is an honor to be a part of capturing those special moments.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish people knew how much hard work and passion I put into my work. Most people think that photographers only work for a few hours at a wedding on Saturday night, then don't do anything else for the rest of the week. :-) There are many many hours put in behind the scenes that no one ever sees. Editing, uploading, filing, storing images, paperwork, taxes, meeting clients, phone calls, emails, book keeping, learning, conferences, schools, reading, and more.... You really have to love it to do this. It's a lot of hard work, and a BUNCH of hours sitting here looking at a computer screen. :-) I enjoy every minute of it.

Chris was a true pleasure to work with for my engagement, bridal, and wedding photos! Not only are his photos amazing but he is very professional and an overall fun photographer to work with. Oh, and as if this was not enough did I mention how great his prices are? When I was looking for a wedding photographer I wanted quality work at a reasonable price but I quickly realized this was hard to find! Chris’s prices and his services exceeded my expectations! I planned a wedding from two hours away while I was in graduate school so needless to say I was quite scatterbrained. Chris was always very kind, extremely patient, and very helpful. He is a photographer that has great ideas but really know when those are wanted and when to let the bride take charge (if only our mom’s had this trait, just kidding!). Overall, Chris was excellent and I am very pleased with my photos and would highly recommend him.

Best photographer out there! I am absolutely thrilled with my pictures and everyone who saw them loved them but even more important everyone who met him said what a joy it was to work with him. He definitely has my recommendations. He works hard and is so dedicated. He kept everyone smiling and laughing even when things were tense! (HELLO my wedding cake fell on the ground and still made me smile!) I have my special day captured with photos that I love - not just some old boring pictures.
I love all of my pictures and I can not wait to place my order for them!
