FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Watch the student hit balls, ask questions of them, explain why they hit where they hit, improve their game by implementing the correct PLAN for success.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played professionally for 2 years. I took 53 lessons from Hank Haney and have watched him teach 100's of lessons. I also have learned from watching Chuck Cook, David Leadbetter, Jim Hardy, and Rob Akins teach. I have caddied 6 times on the Nationwide Tour with 3 Top 10's. I stay current with the new technologies and I listen to other teachers and hope to learn something new all the time.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dream was to play on the PGA Tour. As a kid I had great feel on and around the greens but my full swing was a weak fade. I knew I needed improvements and I sought out to find the best instruction possible. Enter Hank Haney. I took lessons from Hank for the next seven years and I played professionally for two of those years but I had to stop due to a torn tendon in my left wrist. So, I began teaching as a way to still work on my game while my wrist healed. That was in 1998.
