I offer non-traditional piano lessons.
Play songs by chords, ear, and memory, as well as reading notes.
Different methods and programs are available for different learning style needs. All ages including people with special needs are welcome.
Songs include various styles of blues, contemporary, gospel, and classical.
Take advantage of the free introduction lesson to learn to play a song with both hands. Private lessons are held on internet video conference and at my studio.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Take a look at the method and program the teacher will use before you sign up. Do you like the style of the music? The sound of the songs? Will you be able to select your own songs to learn? Can you have lessons on the internet? Is there any additional technology being used by the teacher that would benefit the student?
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Not all piano lessons use the same method. Not all teachers have the same goal for their students.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What is your experience with playing the piano and with teaching?
Do you offer make-up lessons? Are you open in the Summer?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. The inclusiveness for people with Special Needs.
I have one student in her 30's who is blind, and another student in grade school who has Autism.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I had 12 of the students in my studio participate in my May recital. It was not formal, and the students had so much fun!
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. The newest program in my studio is a website where students can book and cancel their own lessons on my calendar. This same site also provides the means to track our lesson plans. This has been extreemly convenient for my students. The teacher pays for this service without any charge to the students.

A. Individuals who take one private lesson per month while using Piano Marvel ($12 subscription to interactive lessons and materials online) pay only $25 per month Hampton Piano tuition.
Two lessons per month $50.
Four lessons per month $100.
Students are welcome to share the cost of lessons with a friend or relative for no extra charge.

A. Do customers have to travel to your studio?
No. I also teach students live on-line with www.oovoo.com video conferencing or Skype. With the camera over the keyboard you see just what you would see in a lesson at the studio, but without the commute.
