Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common projects are landscapes. More common are our customers. They may have a landscape that they don't know what to do with or were to begin. We come in and give a free consultation. During this consultation we find out what the customers likes and dislikes are. From here we design a landscape to meet all the need and likes of the client. In most cases we can design and price your project on the spot. Within 48 hours of your first consultation you can have the landscape of your dreams installed.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. There are a lot of mom and pop and fly by night landscape contractors out there. Please make sure whoever you do business with is licensed and insured, Has a licensed Horticulturist on staff, and guarantees there work in writing.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I call it the wow factor. This is the before and after process. We try to keep our clients away from there project until it is completed. Once everything is finished we bring our clients out to see there new dream landscape. The look of amazement on our customers faces as they see the end result of our hard work is my favorite part of my job.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. In 1994 I had the opportunity to work with a landscape contractor on a large home in the garden district. From that day on I had an passion for landscape and landscape design. I started my own business in 1998. In the past 10 years I have designed and installed over 200 landscapes. After Hurricane Katrina fate brought me to Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC . And here we are today.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is a strong believer in continued education. We offer at our companies expense continued education for every employee. Landscaping is a continually changing field of work. From new breeds of plants to improvements and new technology in irrigation, chemicals, lighting, drainage, and stone products. Because of these changes we go to classes on a monthly basis to offer the most up to date landscape solutions to our customers.
