A. Before booking me as you makeup artist you should let me know in advance what kind of event, the date/time, how many faces involve, location & budget.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. As a Professional Make-up Artist I supply an all day makeup application that looks and feels flawless. No "SWEAT"! I also pamper my clients whether they are a celebrity or everyday people to facial before each make-up application. Every client that I've worked with says I am personable and inviting to be around. I am trained and certified. I provide different looks for each occasion. I feel that you do not need heavy make-up to look flawless, it is all on how you apply and that is where I come in. I love to teach every step of the way while I'm applying your make-up so you can do the same tricks at home.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love people! I love meeting people of different races, helping them with questions pertaining their skin and make-up tricks. I also believe in being honest with my clients, making them feel comfortable and giving them the look they want. I love to pamper my clients as their personal assistant whether it's for a photo shoot, bride, celebrity, whoever... I am very sanitary. I keep all my brushes clean and will use sponges for a bigger group.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. What type of skin do they have? I generally can tell from the look of their skin or I will either feel for dryness and or oil. Another question they may ask is, will MAC damage their skin? I mention to them that it's to only be worn for 3hrs, but anything beyond that to just cleanse their face before they go to bed.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. My advice as a professional makeup artist to you, make sure this is something you really enjoy and want to pursue, because in the beginning it can be challenging. You may go on your first gig and feel it wasn't your best, but that's ok, there will be other gigs you may feel the same way. You are your worst critic, I always tell myself : ) I am such a perfectionist! You want to practice, practice-because PRACTICE makes perfect. Don't be afraid to be creative, this is your art. Take everything with a grand of salt and you will go a long way in this industry.
Q. Write your own question and answer it.
A. Which celebrity will you be working with next on your journey?
I was recently asked to be a Makeup Artist for Meagan Good for one of her photo shoots. I am very much looking forward to it!
Q. Write your own question and answer it.
A. What keeps you going in this industry as a makeup artist?
What keeps me driven is the passion I have for makeup and others that are in tune with it. I feel that each makeup artist has their own style of beat, whether you are just a beauty makeup artist or all of the above makeup artist. If you can understand your clients wants and needs being able to apply it, then you're ahead... : )
