Request Verification

All requests

  • Service requests are reviewed by a Thumbtack team member
  • Requests not meeting Thumbtack's standards check are not delivered to service professionals

Phone verfified requests

  • Customers requesting services during business hours are called by a Thumbtack team member
  • Thumbtack verifies and may add details to the customer's request

Individual Lead Prices

The price of Thumbtack leads vary based on the size of the job. Trained Thumbtack team members review each customer's request and assign a value based on the scope of the work required.

Individual Leads Refund Policy

Thumbtack will refund your payment if either:

  • The customer did not respond to your quote either by phone, email or Thumbtack message 7 days after you send it
  • The consumer was not serious about hiring any service professional

Individual Lead purchasers can request a refund by emailing Thumbtack customer support.

I am a little frustrated because I paid for my first lead and have not gotten a response back from the customer even though I thought I sent two emails to try to give her a price. I feel that it does not make sense unless you at least get a chance to give the customer a price.
