Introduction
Boston Dog Company is an award-winning dog daycare and cage-free dog boarding facility. We are the only dog daycare in Acton, Concord, Sudbury, Maynard, and Stow that walks dogs outdoors every 2 to 3 hours. We provide frequent relief walks for dogs, as we believe dogs should not go bathroom indoors, which happens at almost all dog daycares. Allowing dogs in daycare to go bathroom indoors is unsanitary. It also teaches many dogs, especially puppies, bad habits. We offer cage-free boarding on site and in our staff member's homes (home-style boarding). Our pet suite is 6x the size of a standard kennel run and is the same price as most kennels. We truly care for dogs! We also offer dog walking within most of the Acton and Concord area.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We offer dog daycare, dog walking, pet sitting, and cage-free dog boarding. Our dog daycare is very unique, we walk dogs in our care outdoors every 2-3 hours for relief walks. We have a completely rubberized floor in our daycare to ensure dogs are not injuring their hips and joints during play.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We are a very unique service. In fact, many of our clients compare our daycare to a private school. We only accept 5-15% of applicants and on average around 10%. Our goal is to have only the most friendly social dogs have the opportunity to play, socialize, and exercise in our dog daycare. Since, our revenues go towards non-kill shelters and rescues we are more focused on creating a high-standard of care. Unlike other dog daycares we are not focused on getting as many dogs into our daycare as possible, but only fun-loving, social, and non-aggressive dogs. We have a 3-stage comprehensive evaluation to enter our dog daycare.
