Introduction: I give personal attention to every client I represent. I have conducted over 30 jury trials myself and have extensive experience with selecting and arguing to juries. I have extensive practical jury trial skills and good relationships with courts all over the Commonwealth. I have always conducted criminal legal work from the defense side of the table. I love my job because I have the opportunity to try cases which has always been a dream of mine. Trial practice is the most interesting aspect of law and criminal defense is the most dramatic and fascinating. The opportunity to cross examine witnesses and do opening and closing arguments has always been the most fulfilling tasks of my career.

I have worked with Attorney Sweeney in the past and have found him to be a highly competent and motivated professional attorney. He always looks out for his clients best interest in whatever area of law he practices in and works quickly and efficiently to get to the outcome. I don't know which my husband does better - being a husband, father or defense attorney. Luckily, I haven't had the need for a defense attorney. My husband is one of the few attorneys out there that loves the law and truly cares for his clients. He is a wonderful family man with strong values and I highly recommend him to everyone.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you're accused of a crime or arrested, you should always consult an attorney first. Your conversations with that attorney are confidential and you should be open and honest with him. Also, when you are arrested you should never speak to officers or investigators without having an attorney present. You have a constitutional right to remain silent and not incriminate yourself and you should tell the officer that you want to speak to an attorney before speaking to him or her. Consulting an attorney before speaking to an agent of the government is your absolute right.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I love the practice of criminal law and that is why I focus on it in my practice. I love jury trials and it gives me a chance to do something important in society too. I consider the right of an accused to be represented one of our utmost important rights and it gives me a sense of satisfaction to try and help someone who is in the criminal justice system.
