Question and answer
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. The Flying Irish Studio is famous for the excellence of its Irish Dance training program, award-winning solo and team competitors and quality yoga instruction. A variety of yoga styles is offered to beginner through more advanced students so you can choose the style & program that best suits you. Our dancers prove their ability when they take to the stage during feisanna and shows. The studio is the home of The Flying Irish Dance Troupe, the region's only pre-professional Irish Dance performance group. We welcome students from Fitchburg and Leominster, MA and surrounding North Central Massachusetts communitites as well as students from New Ipswich and Peterborough, NH and other towns from the Monadnock region.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love to see when a student gets a move or an asana, particularly one they worked hard to get or didn't think was possible. I enjoy seeing my students get better and increase their own confidence and poise.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Irish Dance classes are open to dancers ages 4-adult. We offer classes for recreation, performance and competition. Yoga classes are open to all ages so long as children can focus in a 1-hour, multi-age or multi-level class. Children under 10 not in a dedicated children's class must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is taking the yoga class.

Mary-Sarah is my daughters Irish dance instructor. My daughter has never had instruction in dance, and I have to say that I am amazed at how far she has come, in a very short amount of time! Mary-Sarah runs a great program that makes all who are involved feel very comfortable, and the students, confident. Comunication is great between students and parents. I feel we are getting a very fair price for great instruction. I would recomend The Flying Irish dance/yoga studio to anyone. I'm thrilled to be a part of The Flying Irish Studio!

The Flying Irish Studio is a wonderful place to learn. The atmosphere is inclusive and supportive. I always wanted to try irish dance and when I started four years ago, I was delighted to find myself in class with others who were serious about learning but who also wanted a fun and relaxing experience. Mary-Sarah is a dedicated and caring instructor. She understands how adults learn differently than kids. She protects all her students by encouraging cross-training (such as yoga), correcting postures, and not allowing young or inexperienced dancers to toe-walk. Injuries are inevitable in any sport. When I hurt my foot, Mary-Sarah, the other students, and the students' parents all came to my rescue. This kind of attitude really is a remarkable thing at a dance studio. I feel very lucky to have these people, and irish dance, in my life.
