Mike is one of the best magicians I've ever seen. He's original, very funny, and his material is perfectly suited to the age of the audience. But I've seen adults literally crying with laughter when he's entertaining at a child's birthday party or company event. Mike is one of the most memorable performers you can hire. Just call him. Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Check references! You want to hear from real customers who have had the entertainer at their event. Also, check credentials, a lot of performers make self-inflated claims about themselves -- see what others are saying about them!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The magic tricks really aren't the important, what really matters is the performer. Magic for kids isn't about the destination -- it's about the ride.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How long have you been in business? Can I check with others clients? What is your cancellation policy?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. The one thing that really stands out is: Are the children the right age for your services. You want to make sure the show is appropriate for the audience.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. The show is the funnest and most amazing show for kids in the Boston area. From Birthday Parties to theaters and corporate events, AbraKidabra! is the kid's choice!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I get to do what I wanted to do when I was 8 years old! It's great to be able to do what you love! Making kids laugh all day -- what's not to like?

A. Once after a great show, I had a little girl come up to me and she said "I'm so glad the show is over!" I was a little taken a back and asked "Why?" She said "I am so sick of laughing!"

A. The difference between part-time and full-time performers. Full-time performers are more experienced, more reliable, and invest more time, money and education into their work, and that shows in the quality of their work. Plus, they actually show up for their shows!
