I foolishly paid $100 to have a "complete one-time cleaning" of a very small one-bedroom apartment that was empty. I asked that all the rooms be thoroughly vacuumed and dusted with special emphasis on cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. After arriving 20 minutes late, she and her associate spent one and a half hours doing the job. She assured me that the job could be done in that time to which I expressed my doubts. When I arrived after that time, she told me that she did not have time to do a complete cleaning of the oven and that I should get some Easy-off cleaner. The next day, the excellent painters that I hired through Thumbtack had to clean all sorts of surfaces - window sills and under the baseboard heaters(huge dustballs) before they could proceed to paint. The area behind the stove and refrigerator was filthy and untouched. Up until now, I have had very good luck with Thumbtack but not in this instance.
