Introduction: We can assist you with the following:
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Loading/unloading PODs
- Loading/unloading storage units
- Hoisting couches over porches and car garages into windows
- Pianos on the first floor only
- Wrapping/padding your goods for long trips or out-of-state moves
- Packing and unpacking, along with hanging pictures and setting up tables and beds
We charge a $30 fee for travel/transportation and an hourly fee for our movers transportation.
Rates are:
- $30 for travel/transportation fee
- $25 per hour for one mover
- $40 per hour for two movers
- $60 per hour for three movers
One hour is the minimum for each appointment.
Pay just $80 per hour for a 14-foot truck and two fully equipped movers. Three hours is usually the minimum for two movers & a truck, but it will still depend on the location.
We do quarter or half-hours after the hourly minimum!

More than a month ago, I made a reservation with Sean' Foran's moving company to move stuff out of my old apartment into my new one on September 1, 2012. Last week, I called Sean and he confirmed that he would make the move at the scheduled 1:00 PM appointment. He did not show up at the scheduled time. Forty minutes later, I called him. He then put me in touch with another mover, who said he could not make the move for several hours. We called Sean back. He did not pick up. Neither did the other individual, who said he would call us back.
Ultimately, despite confirming the appointment, he never showed up. We were left scrambling to find another mover, all while the incoming tenants were trying to move in. The way in which he avoided our calls/texts after blowing us off was one of the most egregious examples of "customer service" I have ever experienced. I would strongly recommend against hiring, or trusting, Sean Foran in any capacity and advise avoiding "Boston Bay State Movers." He is incompetent, at best, and a shady scam artist at worst. Most likely, it's both, as he is listed as an employee at multiple moving companies.

This guy is a scam! he is NOT a mover. Do not contact him. Don't know whether he is simply trolling for a demonstratively vulnerable "client" or what- he speaks with you, emails, and texts- then does not show up on day of move, does not answer phone or emails- ever- after that!
