Ruth has been my daughter's voice teacher for two years. She's a great teacher and wonderful person! My daughter loves her weekly lessons and enjoys the studio recitals. I would highly recommend Ruth for beginners or more advanced singers.

Ruth wants her students to succeed. She believed there was a voice in me long before I developed a modicum of confidence. She's resourceful (including being a very adaptable piano player), knowledgeable (in a musically intuitive way), and always a bright spirit encouraging one to reach for more.

If you are looking for the best vocal studio in the area, you've found it. A spectacular soprano in her own right, Ruth is a gifted teacher - a wondrous combination of creativity, rigor and charm. I have studied with her for two years, and what a difference she made for me. Ruth will definitely bring you to the next level! She has trained some budding stars, to be sure, but actually has students of all ages (6 to 63), experience, and ability. Ruth is inspiring and really fun to have as a teacher!

Best voice teacher I've ever had...even better then conservatory teachers in college! Great at explaining technique personalized for your voice, but also helps you find passion and depth. Compassionate and supportive and extremely motivating. Wonderful! Highly recommended!

Met with Ruth Hartt yesterday to assess 6year old for lessons. Ms Hartt was both professional and nurturing. She did not oversell lessons, rather took the time to talk and she will let me know if this seems appropriate. The main issue is 6 years old's ability to focus. I appreciate her honest approach.
