As a paralegal I am interested in why the title and case number, i.e. __________ V. ________ 2013-_______-A have not been published concerning Jay Casey's statement that an Attorney was hired to file a slander suit against the Lady who complained against him ? If either party does not wish to publish it here please be good enough to send it to me paralegalassociates@hotmail.com and I shall review any filings at whatever court you filed in and place objective comment in this website because no-one would hire a professional who had valid complaints against him and the reason I am not using him for a flooring installation job is solely because of the complaint published here. Jay Casey is a thief. Not only did he not complete the work he was paid to do but he stole our dolly. Do not hire him.

I highly recommend not doing any work for Craigslist customers. There is a reason they hire from Craigslist, they want work done for free. We will never take a Craigslist job again. Twenty years painting, one summer taking Craigslist jobs and we get reviews that we are thieves because we actually expected to be paid for all the work, not contract for one thing and be hassled into giving free work thereafter. Craigslist customers are freeloading, cheap bastards looking for professional companies at teenager help pay. Pathetic

Jay Casey stole $350.00 dollars cash from me. I called him recently and he called me the c word. He did not finish the work and what he did was horrible.

My wife & I learned we were the 3rd painting company these people hired, or should I say ripped off. We spent seven hours, that's fourteen man hours touching up areas that they felt the last painter didn't do well. They complained still so my wife and I went back a second time and gave them four more hours free of charge. These people are wealthy and steal services from hard working petiole. We recently hired an attorney to file a slander suit against rick & michelle. They literally expected us to repaint their entire Marshfield cottage. I warn all contractors, do not work for these people. They threatened us with their high profile friends should we not paint their cottage for the lousy $300 dollars we went through hell & high waste to collect. Shame on you both. Pay your contractors, don't steal from them. We will see you in court for slandering our names & company. We have twenty years of happy customers, allow the bad reviews you post won't harm our twenty years of excellence. You got over $1000 of painting from us & we intend to file thrift of serve charges against you. Sincerely, American Painting Services

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born into the flooring and painting business and we started offering steam cleaning after seeing that many of our investor friends required the service.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
After painting a mansion on Nantucket the customer asked if we could incorporate a ships wheel into the hardwood floor at the entrance way. It required us having to elevate the entire floor however the extra work was well worth it. The floor looks incredible with the wheel embeded into the floor. We used five coats of polly so that the floor will last a lifetime.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get your paperwork in order. Make sure every detail is in writting. When it comes to flooring, we don't know what the underlayment looks like. If it has to be repaired or replaced the cost could rise fast. Get extra, unexpected work requirements in writting before you go ahead with any work. Painting is pretty straight forward depending on the amount of prep-work and the amount of coats that are applied.
