Priestly Arts

I do bright, thick and expressive paintings (usually oil and mixed materials) that depict the active imagination and landscapes of places the artist has never been but perceives in her mind. Some subjects have included but are not limited to dancing unicorns, ocean goddesses, psychotropic bunnies, colorful dogs from the local park, scenes from Arizona, Colorado, California, and farms from Massachusetts. Deborah also paints in her creative style portraits of people she knows, doesn't know and those commissioned for her to paint. She has been painting for about 10 (ten) years and is an artist who displays some of her work at the Out of the Blue Art Gallery in Cambridge and has a little gallery of her own in her home also in Cambridge. Customers usually love the fact that my paintings are extremely unique, have much motion and color and brighten up their home. I am able to work on any theme and enjoy using the various palate knives along with the brushes to give the painting even more texture and 3D effect. I was trained by an Austrian artist with a bit of a German technique similar to German expressionism.
