Introduction: My work is inspired by fine art and fashion. My background was in the arts - I received a BA from Amherst College and MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. While you will receive some traditional portraits, you also should expect pieces that are edgy, romantic, beautiful, and unique. I encourage my clients to pick pieces to adorn their walls that are different than what you typically see. Definitely meeting new people! It is amazing how many wonderful and interesting people are out there. I've always been an avid reader of personal stories, so I particularly enjoy learning real life stories and portraying a developed personality on film - telling my own visual narrative of the inspiring people I meet. I also have to admit I get great pleasure out of creating pretty images. Perhaps it is shallow, but I enjoy looking at pretty, emotionally charged pictures. Probably the reason I was drawn to the arts in the first place...

I was very careful while choosing a photographer to document my newborn's first days/weeks in the world. Elizabeth did not disappoint! I was SO happy with not only her work, but also with her. She was fantastic and captured a precious time in my life with beautiful pictures. I can't wait for her to take pictures of my baby for future events! http://bit.ly/13VJ8vt

My fiance Patrick and I had such a great experience working with Elizabeth on our engagement shoot. We were both pretty nervous going into it - but she made us feel so relaxed, and we ended up having so much fun. We are SO happy with how the photographs came out - Elizabeth Clark Photography was a great choice!!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I photography families and loved ones in a natural and intimate manner. These can be traditional family portraits or more unique documentary sessions. I also love doing engagement shoots and parties.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please make sure to take some time and really look at the gallery samples of my own and other photographers work. Make sure it draws you in and inspires you. You want to make sure that you receive special images to cherish for a lifetime! Also, make sure you convey what your goals are for the photo shoot. Communication is key - the more we know about you beforehand the better the images will come out.
