Introduction: National competition BBQ pitmasters now cater!! Competition BBQ Chefs Steve Farrin and Brendan Burek from the teams I Smell Smoke!!! and Transformer BBQ have teamed up to share their exceptional BBQ outside of competition circles. We have traveled extensively across the country, competing against pitmasters from all regions of the United States. ISS!!! finished 2009 ranked 3rd overall by the Kansas City BBQ Society out of over 4000 teams, including a rank for 2nd best Ribs in the nation. Steve also holds the current State Grand Champion titles of CT, VT, MD, NY and AL and has been awarded New England Team of the Year honors for five of the past six years. Transformer BBQ has won numerous awards, including 1st place Pork shoulder at the MA State BBQ Championship and 1st place Ribs and Chicken at the NY State Championship. The team was also named Rib team of the Year in 2008 by the New England BBQ Society.
