Monica is an amazing vocalist and instructor and my voice has come a long way in the few months I've been studying with her. I have been having voice lessons with Monica Hatch since January. I love to sing, but haven't really done it in about 13 years. Monica has been absolutely fantastic to work with! She is encouraging, offers clear direction and brings a love of music and voice that is infectious. Whether you are an experienced vocalist looking to reach the next level or just starting formal voice lessons, I cannot recommend Monica enough.

My experience working with Monica has been very fulfilling. I started working with Monica when I was 12 and a half years old. I wanted to improve the quality and overall tone of my voice. I am now 14 years old and after working with Monica, she has taught me to stay on pitch better, my breath control has improved and she has helped me to develop and better my voice which has given me more self-confidence when I sing. Monica is an excellent teacher!

What types of customers have you worked with?
I primarily provide training in healthy vocal technique which focuses on achieving excellent breath control, proper posture and relaxation of the face, jaw, neck, tongue and larynx. I coach students in various styles of music such as classical, pop, jazz,, broadway and liturgical (church) music. Additionally I emphasize strong musicality which includes good intonation (the ability to sing in tune), a strong sense of rhythm and confident artistic interpretation of repertoire. I can also prepare students for upcoming performances which may include concerts, recitals, club dates, holiday events, weddings and other private functions.
