Karen has catered numerous events for me - both business and personal. She is great at the planning part and is good on advising on dishes and quantities.My only problem is having to reply to all my guests who call me later for her contact details because they were bowled over by her wonderful cooking! Her passed appetizers are phenomenal - you could do a whole meal with just those and her main courses and sides are equally great. I usually have her serve and clean up for me as well as, she has wonderful staff to call on when that is necessary. Her prices are very fair, particularly as she uses the freshest of ingredients and produce, and you know that when she is handling the catering that everything will go smoothly and be perfect. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I highly recommend Karen. She is a talented chef and has never disappointed me. I have used her for my wedding, a funeral, small work functions, and individual meals and have no complaints. She does well both when asked to cook something specific and at coming up with creative ideas for your event. She is impressively calm in even the most pressured situation.

Karen has catered several dinner parties for me in my home. They all were interactive cooking parties where the guests could participate if they wanted to. Each time she picked a different theme and gave me several menus to review. She has done just appetizer parties, BBQ, to full meals. Everyone loved it! It is such a fun way to mix up guests who may not know each other well as they are put on different stations to prep and make that dish. Everyone leaves with all the recipes and great memories. I highly recommend her. The menu planning, coordination, and especially the food were all excellent!

I hired Karen to do a New England style clam bake for a family reunion and it could not have gone any better!! Karen and her staff are competent, friendly, and professional. The food was fantastic - we had lobsters, mussels (best I have ever tasted), grilled chicken with Karen's own BBQ, plus appetizers, salads & sides. They brought a huge grill on site and at the end of the day everything was clean and left overs neatly packed in the fridge. Our party gave her a rousing three cheers to end the day. I would highly recommend Home Cookin' for any event or party you are having.
