- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You can Hire Malayna Music as a Solo, Duo or Trio. (possibilty for more or specific instruments upon request). Please see a Pricing Quote below! Solo Includes Piano/Vocals, Duo would be adding Guitar; Trio Options are : 1.) Piano/Vocals, Guitar & Percussion, or Piano/ Vocals, Second Vocalist and Guitar. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start out with Introducing myself and getting to know the customer! Each Event is special! Whether its a backyard BBQ, a birthday or a wedding. No matter the celebration, Live Music brings that wonderful groove to the party and I want to make sure I can bring that special catered set of music to them! Building a bond and understanding for their musical needs is top priority. What is the event information? The 5 W's! Who, what,when,where & why. This will help me understand exactly what the customer is looking for and to be able to put together a quote that is catered to them and there event! I also understand that everyone has a budget! I have worked with all different budgets, I do require a 50% deposit but can always work out payment plans with clients! Its about creating and giving the best live musical experience to the client for their special event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors Degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music. 15+ years of Professional Training in Vocals and Piano. 7+ years in Booking and Management in the Music Industry Musical Endeavors: Over 50k Streams on Spotify Holiday Single Released with SONY Red Music Has Performed all over New England.
