Do you like to laugh and be amused? This award-winning family entertainer with a warm, friendly, dynamic and energetic personality is the one for you!
We provide silly and interactive comedy magic shows, balloon twisting (lines and shows) and holiday characters too! We are available without makeup as a professional silly person. In general, this entertainer has my lowest rate, and less costly than for the same type of performance in makeup. It is not makeup that makes a clown; it comes from within.
As a funny clown, wearing makeup, big shoes, red hair, etc., clown (in makeup) rates are higher than no makeup rates. Pricing depends on your location and type of requested performance. Rates depend on character, location, amount
of hours performed and services provided. Rates maybe lower for additional hours than listed at top of page. It depends on the location.
Yes, you can still get a good deal; simply compare my rates to other quality entertainers, and you will be pleasantly surprised!
Note: I put my rates on this site, while some others put call for estimate; the reason (usually) is that their rates are higher, and they tell you that when you call.
Very important: For my best/lowest rates, contact me directly by phone or through my website.if going through this site additional fees are necessary.
I am available 7 days a week, from Monday to Sunday, days to early eves.
Experience: Trust your event to a seasoned performer.

I've seen Jim appear at least 5 times in MA-NH.
I am on his email list and get notified when he does
public events in my area. I've seen his magic, balloons
and a magic elf show. The audiences couldnt get enough
of this funny guy! My grand kids really get a kick out of him.
I feel that if you want to make your next function stand out
you should look into hiring this fun and friendly entertainer!!

I brought my 2 grand kids to an open house at Target Plaza in
Salem,NH. in April 2011. The program featured live baby chicks,
the easter bunny and balloon sculptures.
The entertainment that got the most reaction from the crowd
was Jim the balloon guy.
This man engaged both the children and adults and got alot of
laughs from everyone!!
I saw alot of people asking for his business card.
With summer here I bet Jim is going to be very busy!

A. Experience should be number 1, Ask how long
they have been performing
& types of events they've performed.
Jim has been bringing laughs to crowds of
2 people (birthday) - over 10,000 (Festivals,Fairs)
Since 1990.
When calling any provider please call at least
4- 6 weeks in advance.
(it is true you can call later and you may get a
date that was canceled, but dont count on this
happenning alot especially during summer months
or the first two weeks of Dec.)
When speaking with a provider ask questions and
dont let them rush you into a decision. (if they tell
you they are open today but cant guarantee they
will be a few days from now they are simply telling
you the truth it is not a way of getting you to rush
into booking)
Retainers or deposits are part of the business and
are deducted from the full amount of the performers
fee. There is no reason the retainer has to be half
the money up front, try to negotiate for a lower deposit.
Understand this..retainers are usually Non Refundable.
If you cancel, this amount is not returned to you.
The safest way to send a deposit & have both parties
feeling at ease is a US postal money order bought
at your local post office.
If you call a prospective entertainer and need to
leave a messege do so in the following order and
it will save everyone alot of headaches, stress if
only part of your messege is retreived.
start off with #1 and continue.
1) Leave your full phone number including area code.
2) Leave your full name
3) Day & date of service as well as the times of your event
4) Location (city and state....Not my house..lol!)
5) How many kids and their ages if a birthday party.
6) how old the brthday child will be and boy or girl?
7) are they all boys or all girls?
A. Ask the entertainer specifically what they can offer you for your event.
Tell them about the event, the audience they are playing to etc. As an example of what I'm talking about, not all entertainers are comfortable with all age groups. You may have a great kid show entertainer who although he plays well to family audiences he may not be the right fit for an all adult audience.
If you provide enough info to possible performers
any true professional would tell you weather or not they should service your event, if they dont take it they would happily suggest another entertainer that would WOW your crowds and do a great job for you!
Remember to ask how long they've performed(dont assume every entertainer has done this for yrs....there are newbees starting every day) and the types of functions they service and have performed at.
Definately if you are still not sure ask for references
and follow up with them.Ask how things went & if they would rehire the act.
A. Ive had a number of very memorable events
over the yrs.
Off hand it is hard to zero in on just 1 or 2.
I will say there was one event many years
ago that happened to be a kids magic birthday
party & Jimbo Z. Klown was servicing it.
As per my normal way of doing things I asked
the mother to keep all the kids outside or in
another room till I was ready for them ( you
dont want anything that shouldnt be seen
out in the open and being seen.)
I didnt see it coming and had no idea that
the birthday girl had planned a surprise for
the clown. The music started the entertainer
was introduced and ran into a room of fully
dressed(clown suits), fully made up
(makeup & noses as well as brightly
colored wigs) giggling &
laughing 9-10 yr old girls!!! ....
at least 10-20 of them!
hahaha I'll never forget
that show.
A. Actually I was told I was gonna do this back in 1988.
I was working in a factory along side of a professional entertainer
who worked the weekends in entertainment and worked mon-fri in
a furniture factory.
Don / Grego had almost 30 yrs under his belt(performing).
He kept telling me that I had a clown in me and
I was going to be a professional clown.
The way I see it today, Don planted a seed because
he saw something that I could or would not see
myself. He always mentioned I was great with
facial expressions and was very animated.
Grego never trained me (graduate of 2 performing
arts schools/programs ) but what he did helped me
to get where I am today...Thank you Don!
It is now 22 years later and Im forever greatful for
any knowledge I have recieved which enabled me
to entertain families for all these years.
Thank you God for this wonderful gift!
A. Do it because you truly love to perform & bring
smiles to peoples faces and laughs to their lips.
Not simply for the money you receive. It will
definately show to customers in the work you
put out.
