- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in high school biology class way back in the 70's the teacher was telling us about a new health threat called cancer and how researchers were finding toxins in our environment that were causing illness. At the same time I was taking home economics and I remember it as if it was a revelation from the heavens....... the chemicals in our foods are making us sick! From there it was a lot of college and hands on internships then the real learning occurred..... from my patients and clients and professional peers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask for a Registered Dietitian and discuss the process and the fees ahead of time.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish I could tell you I have a magic pill to give you to achieve what you need but I don't.... instead I have a gift of compassionate support and guidance for you as you embrace the changes needed in your life and that we will have fun doing it!
