Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Rather than relying on fully created moments, I capitalize on the little unexpected and candid moments to help create a sense of surprise and joy in my work. When other people have their cameras down, I'm often still clicking away going for that perfect moment no one else is going to get. I love meeting new people and discovering what makes them extraordinary. I firmly believe that there's something amazing about each person, and I love hearing each person's story.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My friends decided for me. I was just doing what I loved and sharing it with them. Eventually they wanted to hire me for events and portraits because they liked my work. As friends shared my images, more people wanted to work with me. I didn't really set out to go into business as a photographer, but now I wouldn't trade it for anything.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Just as you want to feel comfortable with your hairdresser, your dentist, or your doctor- you should feel comfortable with your photographer. What ends up getting captured is often a reflection of how you feel when you're around the person behind the camera, and I want to make sure you feel GREAT with me behind the camera!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Most of our work happens after we capture the image. What used to be taken care of by a photo lab is now done digitally on computers and to such fine detail that we will often spend 2-4 hours behind the computer for every 1 hour we spend behind the camera. It's that extra developing time that creates a higher quality image than what can simply be produced in camera.
