Introduction: Sticktuitiveness. I never give up. Too often I hear tales of woe from customers who hired a less experienced tech who charged them to either provide an incomplete solution, or to tinker for hours and then throw up their hands and declare it unrepairable. Don't get me wrong, I may declare something unrepairable (or perhaps repairable, but impractical to repair due to cost), but I will do so within the first hour of the call, not after charging for three hours of service!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for experience, not just in high-tech, but specifically performing one-on-one in-home service for residential customers.
