I own and operate a comprehensive gym, complete with classes such as Pilates, Zumba, NIA movement, etc. My specialty is working one on one with people to help them lose weight through eating right and the proper exercise according to the client's needs and likes.
We also offer 90-day group weight loss classes for those people who are not able to afford one-on-one training or that like the group feeling and support.
We are located inside a Marriott, and our service and amenities match the brand. We are a caring gym, and people just love what we do.
I have been able to help many people reach their potential through a combination of tough love and encouragement. Most of my one-on-one clients are long term and stay with me because I keep it fresh and fun.
We also take part in service work for our community. We do a food drive during Thanksgiving and Christmas and are always looking to mentor our members to grow in themselves.
A. Hire me because I will be listening to what you are looking to acheive. I don't subscribe to the one size fits all menatlity to workouts. I believe that every individual has their own struggles and each person needs to be treated accordingly. I work with people that are serious and who will do the work outside the gym with their food and cardio program.
A. The secret to this trade is knowing how to work with people and how to talk with them. So many trainers make workouts about them and forget to focus on the client. If you pay attention and follow up, you can have a client for life. People tend to see what's on TV and want instant results. if you know how to temper those expectations, you will be amazed at what people will do.
A. A consumer should find out how long someone has been training. They should ask for references. They should ask what the philosophy of training the trainer has. they should ask if they will be given any type of guidance with Food. Without both the food and exercise piece, it is hard to be successful. The client should expect to be a partner and not just an appointment.
A. They should realize that Personal Training is at least a 3 month commitment. They should not think that 4 sessions (one a week) is going to get them their results. They should also realize that they will be help accountable for thier food and exercise outside of their sessions, so if they are not serious about making a change or getting into better shape, I won't take them on.
A. My work is different from most other trainers because I take a vested interest in what you are trying to accomplish. I believe that I am your partner and I care about what my clients are going through. I am flexible with my times and can tweak a workout if need be according to what the day looks like. My workouts are hard but effective and fun.
