- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
During the summer months, my calendar fills quickly; in order to accommodate everyone as fairly as possible, my fee structure is partially based on timing - a Saturday night in the summer generally is at my highest rate, but I'm happy to officiate on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, or midweek at a lower rate. I also will gladly work with couples on a tight budget on a sliding scale.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold two ordinations, one as Cantor and one as Rabbi, each earned after years of intensive study. As an active member of two clergy associations, I regularly meet and exchange ideas with my colleagues, and attend continuing education courses at conferences and online. I am constantly striving to improve my skills as both an officiant and provider of pastoral guidance.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings, bar and bat mitzvah ceremonies, and baby namings comprise the bulk of my work, but I also officiate funerals, special birthdays and anniversaries, renewal of vows ceremonies, and new home dedications. I am also available for tutoring for all ages, and pastoral counseling.
