Singing Lessons

Professional classical singer and experienced teacher is accepting new students. Olga Lisovskaya, coloratura soprano, performs regularly in the New England area. She is a member of Boston Opera Collaborative and is a co-director of Boston Vocal Arts Studio. She has sung with Opera Providence, Opera New Hampshire, Masterworks Chorale, Longwood Opera, New England Light Opera, MassTheatrica, Riverside Theater Works, and Masterworks Chorale among others.

Ms. Lisovskaya performs many different genres: opera, oratorio, musical theater, classical and popular song repertoire. She has a passion for teaching and has been teaching for over 10 years. The studio is open to singers of all ages, beginner to advanced.

Ms. Lisovskaya loves working with beginner voices as well as with professional level voices and with voices in trouble. Lessons include: development of breath technique, strengthening breathing muscles and coordination between breath and sound; working towards a released, flowing, resonant sound; repertoire preparation (languages, diction, interpretation).

It is important to develop a solid voice technique for singing in any musical style and genre.
