- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew since I was a child I was either working with dogs or horses! I decided after working in an office for a while I needed to be with animals and so off to dog grooming school I went! Never looked back and have enjoyed every minute of it. I attend as many seminars and trade shows as I can to keep current on the ever changing dog world!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We offer doggie day care for those of you that have busy lives, but still want a canine companion! Just drop them off with us and have complete peace of mind! All dogs need to be groomed and we offer a wide array of spa services for all types of breeds small and large! Did you know the most common problem between a dog and his/her owner is communication? Bring your dog to one of our dog training classes and we will teach you the art of communicating effectively with your dog!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Whether you are looking to hire a dog groomer or doggie day care provider you should go and meet with the people first and see the facility! Is the place clean, are the people friendly and do they seem professional? Ask lots of questions and find out how long they have been in business and how long they have worked with animals. Do the doggie guests seem happy? Do the employees seem happy? I say - as with anything having to do with animals - trust your instinct!
