Des Images, Photography by Darcey

My name is Darcey, and I own and operate DES Images. I have a small studio in my home where I do most of my portrait work, but I love to shoot on-location as well. After 20 years in the banking field, I realized that being a banker was not what I wanted to be when I grow up! Photography was always ga hobby of mine, but shortly after my daughter was born in 2001, I realized that photography was my passion. My favorite subjects to photograph are babies, children and senior high school students. I also love to photograph weddings, and do occasional commercial work as well. I worked as a special sections photographer for Old Colony Memorial, then for CNC Newspapers doing freelance. I opened my home studio about 4 years ago, and enjoy every minute that I am behind the camera. My greatest satisfaction is creating timeless portraits that touch the hearts of my clients! I am a member of Professional Photographers of Massachusetts and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
