Introduction: Production: We produce music for all kinds of musicians, as well as oversee the entire recording and mixing process. Traditionally, the music producers function was to help artists achieve the best possible record album by overseeing the recording process and offering guidance, coaching and musical ideas to the artists. With the advent of digital music technology, it is now possible for the producer to be the musician and the recording engineer as well. Native Pulse can facilitate all of these functions. Studio & location multi-track recording: We record up to 26 simultaneous tracks of audio, with room for 900 tracks of overdubbing, right here in our home or anywhere you would like to have your music captured. Mixing: We accept files from all major DAWs, including Pro Tools, Cubase/Nuendo, Samplitude, Sonar, and more. We bring sessions into Cubase/Nuendo, and mix on that platform. Our mixing room has been adjusted exclusively with Real Traps high-performance acoustic treatment. We monitor through Barefoot MM-27 speakers and Grado GS1000 headphones using the Metric Halo LIO 8 D/A conversion. We love it all. I have used Native Pulse,/ David Sullivan on numerous occasions over the years. I have found him to be the best at what he does in recording. I used many studios with mja Records and myself over the last 40 years and there is no body better. This is a company and a person that knows what he is doing in this industry. I have used recording studios that major labels use and found David Sullivan to have more knowledge and experience than any fancy studio. Remember it is not the look of the studio but the person behind the equipment who knows how to use that equipment to record. That is the difference here. David is number one in my books. Not only being a recording expert but treats his clients with respect. Use him and you will be happy as I am and many other musicians and companies that use his studio services. A win win for anyone wanting the best in music recording.

Native Pulse is a two-person music production company designed to help artists see their creative vision from concept to conclusion. The creative side: Globally renowned drummer and composer Ra Kalam Bob Moses has over 30 years experience writing, arranging and producing albums for artists of all genres. Live and in the studio, Ra Kalam has performed both as a leader and as a side man with some of the worlds most respected musicians. If you are in need creative direction, musical accompaniment or anything in between, Ra-Kalam is your man. The technical side: David J. Sullivan has been recording music for more than 15 years, and has become Ra Kalam Bob Moses' chief audio, mixing, editing and programing engineer. He specializes in both studio and location recording with experience in jazz, reggae, hip hop, electronic, metal, world music and more. If you are in need of an exceptional sounding record, don't hesitate to contact him. Where: The Quincy space, located at 11 Carruth Street in Quincy, MA, is a 15 minute walk from the Red Line and a 20 minute drive south of Boston.
