Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Always check for proper license & insurance. Don't be afraid to ask for and check out refrences. Talk with the people that will be doing the work on your home & make sure you are comfortable with them, they will be interacting with you and your family for the full duration of your project.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like listening to what people have for ideas for their homes and then helping them find ways to put their thoughts into a plan that we can follow and turn into a reality

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I'v always had building things in my blood. When I was in first grade they were building new homes all around my neighborhood & I was always watching the workmen. Whenever I got a chance I would take scraps from the trash piles and build things with whatever i could scavenge. Years later, I was always building tree houses in my back yard & when they were done, I would tear it down and build a better one in its place. Once i even built one that was 3 stories tall!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Every Year I attend the light construction conference in Providence RI for 3-5 days. I attend numerous seminars while there on just about every subject you can think about from safety issues & lead paint rules to new product introductions and building code reviews. This is just one way we keep up with all the changing trends in the building trades
