I just moved to J.P. and my first order of business was to get a dogwalker. Honestly, I didn't do much research, but what could have been a disaster truly IS heaven. Nicki Glasser is our dogwalker, and she is just amazing. She takes our dog Cassie all over the place: the Pond, the Arboretum, Allendale Woods, and many other places. Cassie comes home tired out and happy. Its funny because now when we drive around town, I notice Cassie get super excited when we drive past places Nicki takes her to walk/run. Cassie LOVES fetching tennis balls, and Nicki will patiently throw the ball for Cassie for a long time. This removes SUCH a burden from my mind and life to know that while I'm stuck in my office for a long time, Cassie is receiving expert attention and care. It is also great to know that if I *want* to, I can take Cassie out for a walk at night, but if I'm just too tired or busy, she's perfectly fine to just let her out back because she's happily tired from the day. Cassie's demeanor has improved, she is much calmer in the house with us and with visitors. She used to have accidents in the house (even though we have a doggie door), but since Nicki has started coming, there hasn't been one accident. I just can't say enough about Dogs are Heaven and Nicki. For what amounts to a couple of cups of coffee worth of money per day, I went from feeling like a neglectful dog owner to a great dog onwer, and Cassie is SO much happier. Everyone wins! I wanted to my work to not feel like work, I wanted to get up and look forward to doing my work, or as i like to say "work" lol
