I found Amber at the last minute after having fired our first photographer who didn't deliver the quality of photos we were looking for. After seeing Amber's website - there was no doubt in my mind that she would deliver the kind of pictures we wanted. She is super professional and is quick to respond to emails as well.
Amber shot our engagement pictures on a Saturday and we had all of the proofs by Monday afternoon! Our engagement photos came out AMAZING. These weren't just basic photos, these were fully edited works of art. I even blew one of them up into a canvas and it is now a piece of artwork on our living room wall. :)
Our wedding was on 9/10/11, and we received our proofs just over a month later. Amber is super fast compared to most photographers out there in getting you your proofs. I cannot say enough good things about these pictures... They are GORGEOUS. There are so many that I love, it's going to be really hard to choose which ones to put in the album.
I truly feel blessed to have had things work out the way they did, and to have found Amber. These are pictures that we will look back on for the rest of our lives, and quality DOES matter. Amber was the perfect choice for capturing these moments.– Nicole

What can I say...Amber of ForeverCandid is a STAR! The entire experience from our first meeting, to our engagement photos, to communication about the wedding and entire wedding day was incredible. The quality of the photos and creativity were spot on. Amber is very easy to work with and always has a smile. She caught the moments we missed and captured the true essence of the wedding. We got emotional all over again when we were looking at our photos! AND, the prices are affordable. She really will work with you if you are on a budget so PLEASE do not be fooled by the run-of-the-mill, low cost photographers out there. With Amber, you are getting a pro and a personal experience and an amazing value. I would recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I used Amber for our wedding in August of 09'. Amber is amazing and words can not describe her pure talent as a photographer. She captures the perfect moment over and over again.
She is professional to work with and always gets back to you in a timely fashion. Her rates our good as well and always include a second photographer. Our album and online gallery were available within a month of our wedding. We got so many compliments on our pictures and still to this day when I look at them I can replay my wedding day in my mind.
I highly recommend her and look forward to using her in the future.– Anne

We used Amber for our wedding (11/09). I don't know how she did it but Amber was able to capture everything about this day that we loved. We were able to relive the day looking through all the amazing photos. It was truely amazing to see photos of that day of things that I didn't even know what was going on! Amber's attention to detail was phenomenal. Her eye for capturing special moments was unbelievable.
As everyone is aware waiting to get your photos back from your event is the hardest part, but not with Amber. Her promptness is incrediable.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. It's important you feel comfortable and natural around your photographer. Never hire someone who makes you uncomfortable or puts you on edge - because your final images will reflect that emotion!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My clients always look very natural and comfortable in their images. I work hard to find unique locations that suit the couples taste.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love traveling to new locations and finding cool spots to photograph in. My favorite part of any day is when I hear/see the reaction of my clients to when they first view their finished images.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. There really isn't a single question that most people ask, however a common question is "what's your style". I think if you check out the website, you'll get a good feel for my style. It's a bit of my own style - a touch of contemporary with a touch of photojournalism.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I, Amber, try my hardest to create a professional yet casual atmosphere when meeting my clients for the first time to put them at least. One couple who was meeting me at a local coffee shop, was running about an hour late. The coffee shop happened to be hosting an open mic night. Long story short, most of our meeting was spent listening to the host of the event test out the microphones by making various animal sounds, including frogs, etc! He even had a bucket on his head at one point. Lots of laughs, and a first time meeting neither I, nor my clients will forget! And yes, they booked the wedding!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. It was sort of an accident. In college, I took "Photography 101" as an elective. Before the course was over, I realized I had more passion for the course than my actual listed major. Upon graduation I bought a camera and started looking for jobs. Never having been a "9-5" type personality, I had always dreamed of being my own boss, so in 2007 I started Forevercandid Photography! I am blessed by my clients everyday and so grateful to be able to do what I love.

A. My rates start at about $1800. All packages are tailored to exactly what you need. Average wedding books for around $2500-$3000. Albums are included in some packages but can be added on after the wedding. High resolution images with full printing rights are provided at the $2300 price point.
