About
Located in Easton, Massachusetts, Lost Dog Grafix is a small one man web design studio founded by Scott McIntire in 2003. Lost Dog Grafix - Creative Web Design, provides a range of web design services. My design philosophy is founded in a strong belief that simple and functional design is the best design. I take a client-centered approach that focuses on meeting your goals through good design and adherence to current web standards. While focused mostly on redesigning and updating older websites, the studio can also convert existing static websites to a mobile-ready, responsive website. I can also add database driven functionality to your website using PHP/MySQL. Additionally we can provide premium web-hosting and domain name registration for our clients. The technologies I work with include: HTML5/CSS3, PHP/MySQL and Jquery.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My work revolves mostly around redesigning older websites. Typically I will first do an analysis of the clients website and develop a proposal that describes areas where I can improve their website. I focus on several areas; improving the design with a focus on ease of use and a clear information hierarchy; adding additional functionality; and improving the search rankings with proper coding practices. After my analysis I'll create several mock ups to illustrate how my ideas might look in various devices and submit to the client for review. Once I have feedback from my client I'll move forward developing a prototype website for a live demo of the actual website. All my websites are built in standards-based HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and utilize PHP/MySQL for any back-end functionality. Depending on whether the client already has a web host I will either display the prototype on my website or upload it to their website for review. Once we agreed upon the final design and functionality I'll build the new website on the clients server. The entire process can take a few weeks to a few months depending on the job.
