Erin did an excellent job painting my foyer! The design I wanted was fairly intricate and she did a great job matching it! Would recommend her work to anyone!

Erin Crowley is a true professional and always listening to her clients tastes. I have had several rooms designed by Erin Crowley and each time her sample boards perfectly matched my vision. I am always pleasantly pleased with her perfection, her eye for detail, and her artistic abilities.

Erin has done numerous faux painting jobs for me; from walls to the smallest of accessories. If you have the vision she can create it! She will work with you to make sure she captures your idea and offers input on what will look and feel best for your space.

Erin of Crowley Art Studio does amazing, beautiful work. Her attention to detail and eye for color is quite impressive. She designed and painted a mural of the Amalfi Coast in our kitchen and several other trompe l’ oeil effects to tie in the main wall. Erin will work very closing w/ you making color and design recommendations so you can achieve the look you want in your home. (I wanted a taste of Italy and my kitchen to feel as if I was looking out of my Italian Villa). Erin can paint anything and is an extremely talented artist and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend her for any type of painting (portrait, mural, faux, etc). Please check out some of her other amazing work a www.ecrowley.com Ciao Bella!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Client's commercial and residential request all different types of custom art. From memorial portraits of people and pets, murals for kids rooms, dining rooms nurseries etc. to faux marble and wood grain. I also get requests for wall treatments such as color washes and Venetian plaster which can completely transform a space. Some of my commercial clients are Jordan's Furniture where I've painted murals for the children's showrooms and faux finishes in the dining areas and living room areas. Other clients are restaurants such as Wild Willy's in Needham and Quincy where I incorporated the owner's family members and pets in the mural work. In the need store I painted Hollywood cowboy movie stars such as Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, cast of Bonaza Sport murals are always a popular request such as Boston Bruin, Red Sox Fenway Park and Boston Jr. Terriers. Another service is live event/wedding painting - capturing spectacular moments (see more on website for details) I also teach classes for drawing, painting including faux and portraiture workshops.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to chose an artist that you feel comfortable with. These people will be working in home or business. Trust and experience is a huge factor. Also you want to make sure they have liability insurance. A portfolio viewing is a must. You may usually see sample on artist's website but they may have newer project that have not been posted. Also sample boards with colors and texture for faux finishes must be seen in person. For mural or faux finish project I visit the client home, discuss the project, view the space, take photos and present my portfolio and samples. This is a free consultation. Client's are able to ask questions and discuss concerns at this point. A design sketch and/or sample boards are provided for a deposit. Portrait projects I usually meet the client at my studio. We go over the size and images that will be used. Portrait subject are also able to do live sittings. Some project have been done by email. The same goes for Live Event Painting. The more info, for example weddings, I get beforehand the better.
